After months of knowing the day was coming, I broke down and wiped out my PayPal account to order a new gun. The arms race is over and there is nowhere else to go but maybe a few small upgrades. My goal was to make it to November, but it didn’t happen. This sport causes some serious addiction issues…

After watching lots of auctions on eBay, I found the one I knew was going to end up at what I wanted to pay. After 8 days of torture for the slowest UPS shipping ever, it arrived yesterday. I must have refreshed the UPS browser 200 times yesterday while tracking it, and finally at 2:30 it tells me it was shipped to the wrong address that doesn’t exist. A quick call fixed that and I was back on track picking it up at UPS. As Liam Maher felt about his old Ducati, I will describe the Ego 7 as the greatest consumer product ever made, except maybe the video iPod.

Consumer drool. I had it SO bad for the BMW R1150GS back in the day. HAD to buy it, HAD to quit my job soon after.
PS: Is that shit a sport or activity? Like wakeboarding. When does something become a sport?

No question it’s a sport, unless you are thinking of a bunch of yahoos running around the woods playing army, then not so much. When you’re playing on astro turf on a field, you need to be in shape to play at all well, have teams that score points, timed games, sponsored athletes, referees, tournaments and events called World Cup kinda make it feel like a sport. If you’re thinking woods, this is what you should be thinking:
