On Memorial Day, don’t forget the 30,000 plus wounded veterans that need to put their lives back together. Go to Homes For Our Troops and throw them a few bucks, it’s a great cause.

Saturday

We volunteered today to help with some maintenance on a women’s homeless shelter in West Chester. We ended up doing a bunch of work around the house including painting the deck a good shade of blood red.

SEALs

While I’ve got SEALs on my mind, here’s two good stories. One about a SEAL from Dave’s same team and platoon who sacrificed himself on a grenade and was awarded a posthumous Medal of Honor. There’s only been 4 of these awarded since 9/11, and two went to SEALs.

The other is this video from a few months back but an amazing story and definitely worth watching.

I found out Slayer was doing a fan video contest on You Tube, which I thought might have some amazing sumissions. While the majority of them were far less than amazing, these were two good ones…
